Accumulation Conveyor
Description
Accumulation conveyor is useful when a continuous flow of fruit is needed in the following machine, this machine usually feeds box and bag fillers or automatic weighers.
- This equipment has 1 lower conveyor and 2 inclined wall conveyors, making a trapezium where the fruit is accumulated.
- The fruit is received at the front of the space between conveyors and is accumulated by moving back de conveyors, while a separated belt takes out the fruit to the next machine when needed.
- It has sensors that measures the amount of fruit and can be interconnected to other machines to exchange information about status.
- A VFD can be used to regulate speeds.
